An anthropologist from the University of Iceland and teacher with avid interest in ethnohistorical issues, Native Americans and political and social justice. My blog will reflect those interests.

Personal note, I am married to Gudny Gudjonsdottir, a fellow traveler in life. We have two kids, Sara Djeddou, born 1994, and Odinn Freyr, born 2004. Together we love to travel, see fascinating places and experience new things. Traveling enriches the soul and broadens the mind.
